Along the way, you’ll learn techniques for working with structured fabrics, creating a polished finish, and assembling a professionally constructed bag. This class is ideal for confident beginners and experienced sewists looking to expand their bag making skills. 

Supply List

Pattern

• Crescent Tote pattern by Noodle head

Exterior Fabric

• ¾ yard (depending on size variation and fabric direction)
• Recommended fabrics: canvas, linen, denim, or quilting cotton with heavy interfacing

Lining Fabric

• ¾  yard quilting cotton

Interfacing & Structure

• Lightweight woven interfacing (e.g., SF101): 1 yard
• Fusible fleece (Pellon 986F): ½ yard

Hardware

• 18” of zipper tape with two zipper pulls OR
  • 1 – 6” zipper & 1 – 8” zipper

Optional Hardware for customization:

• 4 – D-Rings, Rectangles, O-Rings, or ovals
• Bag Label/Handmade label
• Bag Feet (4-6)
• Strap Ends
• Rivets (20 of 8mm or 6mm, or 8 of 10mm)

Straps

• Webbing OR fabric for straps:
  • 1/4 yard of 44” wide fabric
